STAR Physical Therapy Vestibular Program

STAR's vestibular program is designed to assist your patients who have sustained peripheral or central deficits. These patients often present with complaints of dizziness, vertigo, change in balance, and/or frequent falls. Patients are evaluated and treated with a personalized rehabilitation program based on their individual needs. Treatment may include oculomotor retraining, canalith repositioning/ liberatory maneuvers, habituation exercises, gait training, balance and coordination training as well as trunk and lower body strength training. Our goal is for our patients to achieve optimal function and to return to their prior level of activity.

Patti Baylis, PT, who specializes in Vestibular Rehabilitation directs STAR's vestibular program and will conduct the initial evaluation of all patients who are referred for vestibular disorders. Patti has over 15 years experience in many aspects of the field of Physical Therapy including neurology, vestibular dysfunction, orthopedics, and cardiopulmonary.
