Dr. Andrea Johnson-Davis, PT, DPT, MS, CCCE
Dr. Andrea Johnson-Davis completed her Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy at Misericordia University, in Dallas, PA, in May of 2010. Previously, she earned her Master of Science in Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Science degrees, also at Misericordia. She is a Board Certified Physical Therapist by the State of New Jersey.
Andrea is a dedicated clinician and educator with a focus in orthopedics and sports medicine. She has presented at sports conferences on the topic of PFS (patellofemoral syndrome) and its effects on female athletes. She received the Virtua Award for Clinical Excellence in 2004.
Andrea participates in several youth/athletic/education programs and has served as a volunteer physical therapist at both Shawnee and Camden Catholic High Schools in the Athletic Training Department.
She continues her involvement in the area of sports medicine by serving as Assistant Coach/Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for a Div I University Women's Softball program. There she has implemented her knowledge and expertise to reduce the amount of non-contact injuries through regimented stretching and strengthening programs.
Andrea also serves as STAR PTs Center Coordinator for Clinical Education (CCCE). She is responsible for all Physical therapy students who do their clinical rotations with STAR PT.
Andrea resides in Burlington Twp. With her husband Richard. She is a graduate of Camden Catholic HS in Cherry Hill, NJ. In her spare time, Andrea enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her family.
